Gunnar - 1 year old

It’s hard to believe that the puppies we brought home last November and they are big dogs now.  They have grown so much as has my love for them.

I’m not sure how much they weighed the day that we brought them  home but they are up and over 70lbs now.  Tanner has probably reached her full size but the vet says that Gunnar has some more growing to go.  Tanner has always held her weight well but Gunnar got really skinny over the past couple of months.  He has lost 2lbs between the summer and his vet visit last Saturday.  The vet says that we need to up his food 2 cups so he is eating a whopping 6 cups of high quality dog food per day (plus treats). She thinks that he will top out around 90lbs.  My goodness…..he’s gonna be huge!

Tanner - 1 year old

Tanner is a very quiet mellow dog.  She is very loving and has a beautiful face.  Gunnar on the other hand is very hyper.  He loves to run around in circle around people and things.  He is also very affectionate and playful.  From the time that he is up in the morning until he goes to sleep at night….It’s Playtime.

Unfortunately, we were informed that one of their litter mates had passed away on October 13.  His name was Jake and he was greatly loved by his family and all who met him.  He will be missed and our thoughts and  prayers are with his family.

Come and visit us at The Jackson Road Haunt.  Almost all of the patrons that have made it all the way through have loved it and said that it is one of the scariest haunted houses around.

There are about 17 rooms and mazes and almost all of the rooms have at least one monster so you aren’t going through a haunted house that is full of animatronics.  These are real live monsters that will really scare you.

A lot of time was spent in the creation of the rooms .  If you take your time as you go through the haunted house, there are many special effects that only a “trained” eye would see the picture whose eyes “follow” you and the pictures were the images change from the family portrait to the monster they become after the sun goes down.

Come a give it a try……you won’t be disappointed.

We just couldn’t stand being without a camper for very long so we came across a great deal on this Montana 3255.  It is a 2005 model and the former owners took immaculate care of it.

We just absolutely love it.  It is so beautiful and fun to camp in.  We call it sissy-dog camping because it’s not at all like camping when you get into it.  About the only thing campy about our trips are the bon fires and the hikes.
